What platforms do you build the websites on?
For Custom Designs, we specialize in WordPress websites. Book a Discovery Call below if you are interested in Squarespace or Shopify.
How is this different than the Restyle package?
In this service we are creating a completely custom website. In the Restyle package we customize a website template from our shop.
How many website pages does this include?
We create up to 5 pages. This typically includes the home page, contact page, and 3 other pages. More pages can be added to your package for an additional fee.
Is a logo included in this package?
YES! We include A FREE wordmark logo, which is a text-only typographic logo, as a gift to our clients so that they will have a fully finished professional product. Our complimentary logo includes only three different directions and two revisions. If you’re looking for a more official logo & branding process, that can be purchased at an additional fee.
Do you require payment to book a design?
Yes! We book many clients who are looking to get a website up as soon as possible. Once we book the design week for you, that means we do not book anyone else. The non-refundable retainer fee is to make sure that we honor the week we’ve set aside just for you, and for our other clients.
How long does the process take?
The actual design week is only 10 business days (booked Monday-Friday). We schedule design weeks a between 3 and 6 weeks out, which gives you plenty of time to prepare to work with us by completing our 5-Part Brand Assignment.
What do I need to have ready before I start?
We need all of your content (images, website copy, etc) before we can start the design process. We’ll guide you through the steps of our Brand Assignment that needs to be submitted one week prior to the start of your design week.
How do I know which designer I will get?
All of our designers produce the highest quality work and have been hand-selected by the founder of Pixels & Bones, Simone Kalt. With the best of our knowledge, we’ll pair you with the designer that best fits with your goals, style aesthetic, and timeframe.
